Board Pipeline Training initiative: African American and Latino / Hispanic Board Pipeline development for Community-Based Organizations Associated Black Charities provides this tool to match “need” to “opportunity” – the need for trained, passionate African American, Latino, and other professionals of color by nonprofit organizations that offer opportunities for Board service and for expansion of social and professional networks. Prospective candidates are professionals and / or business owners in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan region; have a specific passion to make a difference in Baltimore; have time available to participate in the training (a 3-hour evening training for 3 consecutive weeks and social/professional networking follow-ups); and the willingness to follow through with service on a non-profit Board.
